My mom and I were planning to go to China to visit all our relatives and I'm looking forward to it but now since SARS is still rampant in China (but my mom says it's not in Shanghai, where we would be) so my dad doesn't want us to go at all because he doesn't think it's safe. =( I would still be willing to go to China because I've been looking forward to it for soo long and I really don't want to stay home for the summer because I'll have to get a summer job and take classes. Not very appealing to me. SO FAR, we don't know if we are or we are not going to China... it could still work!

I'll have to work plenty when I go to college. I've decided on University of California Santa Cruz. I hope it's the right choice. I would like to transfer to a different UC when I'm a junior because I don't know if UCSC has all the majors I want, and besides I'd rather go to UC San Diego.. I would've too if they wanted me! My perception of my smartness really went down when most of the colleges I applied to didn't accept me. I did get into Chapman University thouh and they offered me $11,000 scholarship every year but since they're a private school, it was still expensive. At least I have a couple of scholarships from golf and churches.

I'm soo worried because I don't know what to major in at all. Everyone's telling me I should do business or Economics because I can get a lot of jobs that way, but it's not what I want. I love creative writing, Graphic Design (I don't think they have that kind of major in any UC college =(, Communications (don't think UCSC has that one so I have to transfer somehow!) ... I have to talk to an advisor.
