The past few days have been filled with going to popular shopping districts, seeing family, making the acquintance of a small dog and a cute little boy, checking out Nanjing Road, taking walks, eating pineapple (so sweet!), playing cards, watching "Friends" and missing MS. Weather wise, it has been pretty good: Not too much sun, nice soft breezes, cool temperatures.

Some of the DVD purchases: Silk, with Keira Knightley; Saw IV; a couple seasons of "Friends" and a set of all the Audrey Hepburn movies. Also got myself a new ring: heart shaped with a circular crystal in the middle. So elegant and pretty. Another thing I'm excited about is the white Gucci watch which wraps around the wrist twice. Very clean and chic. In terms of clothing, I've found two beautiful dresses: One is a shiny deep purple with big buttons down the middle and the other is black on top and yellow/black swirly designs below. They look great. I even found something for MS but I don't know if he'll like it though...

This morning I went to Nanjing Walking Street -- took the subway which is a very good system here. It's all clean, quiet and smooth. It was fun to see all the famous buildings, sweet and pretty ads, department stores and little shops full of good eats. After wandering around there for awhile, I went to my cousin's place. I'm probably going to visit with one of my aunts then go out in the evening with Da Wei, my cousin. Despite the language barrier, it's comfortable and easy being around him. Easy to chat with.

Tomorrow I'll go out with both Da Wei and Yan Yan (his wife) then have a dinner to attend to with another aunt's family. Sunday I'll get to see Bai Bai, another cousin that I'm pretty close to and she knows some English as well. Looking forward to seeing her...
