So I've been back in the Marina area for a couple of days now. It's been not so good weather: Cold, windy, grey. Ugh, I had forgotten all about that. Anyway, have met up with a couple of people. Saw MH which was awesome... We went into Seaside to get some Wendy's grub. Yum! And of course, was delightful to catch up with her.

Also, I ran into a couple of people while I was hanging and shopping around in Seaside, which was pretty cool. Then, met up with KT, SV, N, and AE. I loooved chilling with them and telling them all the news. We shopped around a little, then headed to the apartment and laughed, talked, played Trivial Pursuit. I was paired up with KT and we won! =)

Been relaxing, watching "America's Next Top Model", movies, saying hi to past co-workers at the library, reading, grocery shopping, cooking (for Mother's Day), chatting with good friends, taking walks, and generally taking it easy. Soon will have to think more strategically about what to pack/bring with me on the trip to Shanghai, China... We'll be leaving the country May 22nd.

It was a great Mother's Day, with family friends coming for a really nice dinner meal. Lots of excellent food: Spring rolls, kung pao chicken, salmon and asparagus, salad, bbq'd chicken and pork, garlic bread, eggplant dish, duck... And for dessert: An amazing, rich, gorgeous chocolate cake and a light and wonderful fruit tart. This all came with intelligent, interesting conversation about travels, different cities, current events and so on.

Talked with MS for a little bit. Wish it could've been longer, but it was good to hear his voice and we'll talk again soon. I really feel that he's so much better when I'm actually near him physically (meaning in NY) but we'll have to get through this. I know when I'm back though, everything will continue and progress in the positive direction this relationship is heading... We'll be close and couple-y as usual. At least I'm pretty certain.
