So, I had a pretty damn good night yesterday, despite all the guys who put their arm around me and tried to make it seem like I was with them. Oh, what a life I lead! Headed out to Butterfield 8 after having a satisfying discussion with EC which I always do because he's an awesome listner, loves unconditionally, and doesn't judge but really makes me think about what I do. Anyway, had a good time meeting a bunch of new people, including R who thinks of me as some sort of celebrity because I'm so beautiful, and exciting on facebook. It was flattering, and he was really funny but he had is arm around me and was saying if he let go, he couldn't breathe and was telling people that I'm his ex-girlfriend. They could tell it wasn't true, but still. Come on!
Then, there was R's friend who I thought was really nice, a bit non-talkative but a all around good guy but later he was trying to get with me too. As well as P, H and J who I invited to come out but he definitely thought we were going to be alone together later and I just didn't know how to tell him I'm not interested in dating him (or any of the guys I'm listing here) so I just listen to them, smile and talk about another guy. I don't think they all get the message, because even when guys think I have a boyfriend, they will still be interested and still try which I find completely and utterly disgusting.
There was one boy that I was slightly interested in, N who had these blue eyes which is the extent of my interest because he was truly quite a jerk. I mentioned that to him, and his response was "But you like it." In some strange twisted way, he's kind of right. I mean I would never be with him, but it was fun to flirt and make eyes, and sit on his lap... Then, RK comes and freaking picks me up, ends up knocking down his drink and breaking glass. Wonderful.
We left around 10p, and J drove us in his little blue sports car down to W4 to meet with the rest for some falafel... MC, always the nice one actually gives me the rest of his lamb, veggie in pita and it was soo good! Anyway, we headed downtown, stopped by Sugar (a diner) where I had an extra chocolatey brownie and just chilled with the guys, and one gal who is was cool.
Went to Katra after, and hung out downstairs this time which was too damn hot but still ended up having a ball. A couple of guys tried to dance with me, but I could only tolerate A's dancing near me because he didn't get too out of hand. I ran into H, which was awesome-- So lovely to see her! Met some of her friends, and also saw MH and her fiance again. He was the one who pushed Mr. Italian Dancer and me together, but it didn't work.
Anyways, had a great time just doing my dance thing and was stealing glances at the good looking man who was dancing with someone else. Finally, I got close to him and since it was the fifth time we had looked at each other, I went to him and we started dancing. He's French... And wanted me to go back to his place which wasn't far away. And being me, I thought about it and had to ask H who is the greatest because she totally stopped me by saying if I want just sex, go right ahead but really don't, don't even know this guy. So true!
So I stayed, but not for too long. A and RK wanted to leave, and they were my ride so I went with them. We stopped by a nice falafel place on St Marks, and I got some tiramisu and raspberry gelato. It was heaven. And I had a nice time with the guys. They were just hilarious-- I definitely laughed the entire time. But they also wanted to take me to their place, and have their way with me which I wasn't going for. So they finally let go of the idea... For the most part. RK is pretty crazy, but also really nice. He said to me, "You're like a doll who talks because you're so beautiful" and he likes that I'm not like most beautiful girls who are dumb (according to him). Aww!
