*living my dream life*
Spending the Day with MS
kitten-kissed on April 06, 2008 at 1:52 a.m.

So, last night DV and I walked around NYU for awhile then found a little diner to have dinner... I got the grilled chicken, feta cheese, onion and lettuce wrap complete with french fries. It was pretty darn good, but was mad bummed out when DV and I found a food stand selling pita sandwiches at 42nd St, where we went to see Stop-Loss. Turned out to be a really intense, illuminating, sad, emotional film. It was good and lots of eye candy.

We got some dessert after the movie and continued our girly talks then decided we wanted to go dancing. I got a hold of DS since he knows places to go so we tried to get in at Sway but it wasn't happening so took a cab to another place that was pretty good. I got the DJ to play "Hips Don't Lie" and had a fun time dancing around to well known songs and 80's music.

It was a beautiful spring sunny day out today! I got to wear my open-toe high heels (but they hurt). I met up with MS and DS with the intention of going ice skating at Riverbank State Park. Unfortunately, the rink was closed to the public since there was an ice show going on. Since we were there already, we walked through the park and it was pretty nice. We decided to get something to eat at a pizza place: Deep dish with extra cheese, mushroom and chicken. It was all right.

What was really interesting: DS explained to me that 2007 MS was funny but 2008 is an off year so I have to wait til 2009 to hear some good jokes. I found this to be actually quite true, but I still find MS to be amusing.

DS left MS and I after that. MS and I decided to go to Chelsea Piers where there was ice skating all day. It was a beautiful place and I loved being by the water, seeing the cruise ships. MS and I decided to be lazy and sat on the bench, sitting close together, interlocking fingers and just talking. I loved that MS gave me a view into his life and that he was so open talking about himself and sharing stories. And it was really easy to laugh with him, to just talk to him. MS wanted to stay on the bench awhile and when I asked why his response was: "Because I'm enjoying your company." Awww.

When we actually made it to the ice rink, it was closed for the day. Darn. Oh well. We stayed around the area for a little while longer then went to look for food. MS suggested Ruby Tuesday on 42nd St and that sounded good to me so off we went. I got the strawberry lemonaide which was mad sweet and delicious. We shared the fried shrimp with a lovely sauce and for the entree I chose the barbecue chicken with melted cheese, crispy onion, bacon, and a large helping of fries. I could only finish about half of it, but it was wonderful.

MS asked if I wanted to "run a movie"-- watch a movie. We headed to Regal and I finally decided on Drillbit. We had an hour before it started so we found a bench and I laid with my head on his lip and he stroked my hair, etc. It felt really nice. Continued lively conversation and slight teasing.

Inside the theatre, I sat with my legs atop of his, hand holding -- fingers interlocking and my head on his shoulder at times. His other hand was on my leg, while mine was stroking his arm.

Drillbit was about three high school kids hiring a body guard to help them fight kick-ass bullies. It was actually really hilarious, great lines, and just far out and outrageous.

Afterwards, MS walked me to the 7 train and told me to call when I got home. I had a nice talk with him when I finally arrived at my apt... The train was sweet because it was an express but the fucking bus didn't come until at least 20 minutes later. That always happens when it's after midnight. That schedule is wack! Shit.

Hmm, so I felt like I wanted to kiss MS again and we came kind of close a few times but it didn't happen. Though, we are holding hands and all that other stuff so I'm not sure what to make of that but maybe he wants to take it slow, which might actually do me good. I'm glad I got to spend time with him though and I'm enjoying getting to know this metro sweetie.
