Disappointed

Being around him wasn't hard; it didn't hurt. Until now.~ Blair Waldorf

So, I expected to spend a lot more alone time with BM on Saturday because he made it sound like he was free the whole day. Then, on the actual day he revealed he had brunch and dinner plans so could only hang out in between but at least it would be one on one, at least that's how he made it sound. And I had made my peace with only spending a few hours with him, because I had plans in the evening as well. What annoyed me was when I realized he was bringing his male friends, BG and TR along for our walking/shopping time. Don't get me wrong, I know both of these guys, and they're great but I want BM... Sigh. Frustrating, and frustrated.

We went to 5th Ave and checked out a bunch of lovely stores. I must admit, it was fun to go around with these guys, but it wasn't the best environment to have a deep conversation with BM, whic is what I wanted. We didn't get to talk much at all. In fact, when we stopped by the Empiro Armani Ristorante for a drink, I'm pretty sure I chatted with TR more than BM, who was busy talking with BG. I mean, TR's great and a really nice guy but he's not the one I'm into. He also goes to NYU grad school, and has connections with magazines, so will be sending him my resume. He revealed something about BM that I had no idea about, and has made me re-think who he is (a little bit)...

I left the boys a little after 5p, and I loove how they say goodbye here: A hug and kiss on the cheek. Also, I was looking forward to see them later in the night since we had talked about going to Corio later.

Anyway, made it to the theater downtown to meet with MS and some of his friends to see Sin Nombre. We had some time before the film so stopped by Whole Foods for apples, then back to the theater. It was an amazing film: Really intense, emotional and kind of depressing too. I got really into it.

After watching, we headed to a nearby Thai restaurant. It was a great place. Delicious everything: Thai iced tea, crispy shrimp rolls, chicken satay and chicken puff pastry type. Plus, really well priced. Next time I need to get the mango sticky rice!

I called BM after eating, and no answer so I just headed to Corio. I knew that MM would be there so I thought I would be fine. I got in with no problem, and spotted MM right away. He introduced me to J and O. I was a little bored in the beginning though, because MM was working the door and I didn't have someone to talk to much. Then, J saw me and invited me upstairs, which was where the actual club and I met a couple of his friends. I talked mostly with JM who thought I was a promoter. I danced with him for a bit-- It was nice because he didn't try to get too close. When they left to go elsewhere, I just headed home because it was around 3a and I didn't want to pay to get into LQ.

HAPPY EASTER! Sunday afternoon I headed out to the Brooklyn Bridge to meet with a bunch of 1001'ers. It was great to see VJ, R, LA and a bunch of others. It was a decent day to walk across the bridge (at least it wasn't raining like half of Saturday), and of course, the Brooklyn Bridge is truly a feat of architecture-- Really beautiful. We were in Brooklyn Heights directly after crossing, and RM talked about the history of the borough for a little bit.

Then, we reached Caffe Buon Gusto, the Italian restaurant. There was so much to choose from. Had good discussions with J, LA, A and LA. I ordered the crab ravioli with creamy sauce, shrimp, tomato and spinach. Yum!

I would've hung out with the group more, but I had to meet AI in Chinatown. It's been awhile since I've hung out with her, so was very happy to see her again. We went to Babeland, a sex shop and helped her picked out some stuff. She told me about the new guy she's dating and I regaled her with stories about all the guys in my life, especially BM. AI doesn't think it sounds like he has a lot of substance. Haha.

We had dinner after a bit, but I was still full from pasta so just got mango smoothie boba tea, which was just so thick and good! Also enjoyed red bean mochi ice cream and Chinese style fried chicken. I had a really nice time with AI and hopefully it won't be so long until we meet again.
