Thursday night after class, I met up with MA at the nearby Starbucks and he got me Vanilla Rooibos Tazo Tea, and a chocolate graham cookie. He also shared the chicken salad sandwich he got for himself. It was really good to see him-- We always have great conversation, and he's a very good listener. He knows that I want more than just one nights, and thinks I'm just looking in the wrong places. He also agreed with what the bartender at Duff's told me-- That I'm a free spirit, have a good energy and people notice when I walk into the room. And that people like being around me. Aw!
After Starbucks, we headed uptown to the Empire Hotel-- I was invited to the Rooftop party. BM had called and said he and his friend were going to the same place, so would let me know when they got there. It took them longer than us, so I scoped out the rooftop lounge. Pretty nice, crowded, awesome music, and beautiful view!
So anyway, BM called and they were hanging out at the downstairs bar, so I went down and found BM easily. It was great seeing him. He got me a Shirley Temple then we joined his friend, who was hanging out with part of the cast of The Little Mermaid Broadway show! C is actually going to be playing Ariel soon, so it was pretty awesome to meet her etc. So, BM and I sat on the same chair and I loved it when he put his arm around me. We caught up about the last week (he was in the Bahamas! for Valentine's Day weekend-- His friend got married there), and it's so easy to talk to him. BM said now we have to go see The Little Mermaid on Broadway. Hm, I don't know, but would love to go see a show with him.
I mean, I definitely want to see more of him. And I think he'd be okay with that too. For instance, I mentioned karaoke and he immediately said we should go. Also, he wanted me to go out with them again tomorrow night (had plans already), so he proposed going out Saturday night. Definitely down for that.
BM and I mostly stayed downstairs, but we went to the rooftop for a bit just so he could see what it was like. It felt good to be so close to him, holding his hand as we walked through the crowd, being in the outside area, checking out the gorgeous outdoor views and so on. Back downstairs, BM and I went to sit on a really soft and comfortable couch off to the side and he suggested that I untie the drapes, giving our own private room. Haha.
It was getting kinda late, but everyone was hungry so we decided to go uptown to Big Nick's. All except BM, because he still had to work in the morning. I was sad he didn't come with us, but I still had a swell time. Tons of random conversation, laughter and drunken musings. I talked mostly with S, A, E, and J. I got the potato pancakes with sour cream, apple sauce and fruit. Pretty good.
So, tonight I went to World Bar, connected with Trump Tower Hotel. It was all the way down on 1st Ave, by the United Nations and very nice. Warm atmosphere, and everyone loved my sparkly silver mask. I ran into a bunch of the guys, and met some gals too. World Bar was more a lounge-y hangout place than club-y but it was all right. I got a sample reading from a fortune/tarot teller-- She said I have a lot of creative thoughts about business and I will own my own business. Also, I have good energy but need to focus it, and my love life isn't where I want it to be. Well, yea! However, apparently I will be with someone in the middle of the year. We will see!
Anyway, I left around midnight though... Met M while I was in the coat check line so we walked to Grand Central together. She was really cool, and nice.
Have a busy day tomorrow. I'll be doing a walking tour of the monuments downtown, going to a potluck at M's with InterVarsity, seeing the movie Push then hanging out with the group, and possibly meeting up with BM. (I told him about the bartender reading my hands, and when I mentioned the part about me lighting up the room, he said "You do." Sweet!)
