This morning MH called me to see if I wanted to take a walk with her to McDonald's. Prior to today she voiced that she's busy with Christmas plans etc so didn't really schedule time to see me but as she found some free time, it was really good to hang out with her. We always have a fun time together and each time we hang out, she becomes a little more open with me so that's a wonderful feeling.

I had grilled chicken chipotle bbq wrap, chicken nuggets and fries. A very filling meal so I'm very glad we walked to and from the eatery. Though on the way back, a couple of guys in a van kept driving past us, honking and yelling out the window. It was extremly rude and disrespectful. Don't people have lives?

Later in the day I made contact with the parents of my elementary best friend, LL who live in New Jersey. LL wasn't home but I talked with her mother and told her the good news that I'll be in the East Coast very soon. She was very happy to hear from me and insisted that I come spend a weekend at their place. I shall definitely take her up on that offer because I miss them, want to see LL and they're Greek -- LL's mom makes the best food.

In the evening, OS came over with NYC maps and the contact number for a student she knows who goes to NYU for this semester and I've met her before as well so it'll be cool to get in touch again. Then, OS and I headed to Carmel to see a Tibetan Lama speak. We got there late and no one had heard of the event so we checked the paper and it's actually tomorrow night. I'm intrigued so after work at the Seaside Library, OS will pick me up. We'll probably grab a bite to eat then go to see the talk.

OS and I decided to go to the movie theater because we both wanted to see I Am Legend. Will Smith is such a talented and incredible actor. He basically had to carry most of the movie, though gorgeous german shepard, Sam was so intelligent and human. The movie was well made and I know I jumped quite a few times because of the mutants jumping out and the loud music. There was a very strong message and that really came alive.
