Great Times in China

I have accumulated more new things, some that relatives have given me: 2 bras, one light green lacy and sweet; the other hot and light pinks-- looks hot! I also have a really cute green leaves and red flower top, one shouldered and diamondy studs on the top left part. Another cousin let me have her light pink with belt detail shoes which are cute, but not that comfortable.

The other day at PartyWorld Karaoke place was pretty cool. Very elegant and beautifully designed place and we had a buffet-style meal there as well. I enjoyed one of the desserts best: mountain of shaved ice, with red bean paste, little tapioca pearls, strawberry with syrup and other flavorings.

After several hours of singing, we went shopping for a little while. I found a place with some nice handbags... My eye was immediately drawn to a Coach brand: Squares of purple, light blue, beige and other patches of Coach's brand logo in many differing colors. I've always liked that style so my mom bargained it down to 50%-- It was only RMB (about 7 USD!)

Wednesday I didn't really have any plans but still had fun. Went out to eat lunch at the dining hall of the Shanghai International University-- It wasn't that great. Walked around the campus a little bit, and bought a set of postcards (I collect postcards from everywhere I visit).

We then went to one of my uncle's place. They fixed it up very nicely. Really comfortable in their apartment. Played with the two little dogs, had some snacks, watched a bit of TV then went out to walk around for awhile and to get dinner. I decided on a hot pot soup style meal... I got to choose all the meat, veggies etc then they just put it all together in a soup. Was pretty tasty.

The next day my parents and I went to HuaiHui Lu (a famous road/area of Shanghai) to meet up with a friend at Jing Jiang Tower Hotel. She is a member there so we'll be able to spend the evening at the hotel. Also will have dinner there later on. Spent the afternoon swimming, going in the really nice hot tub and walking around, seeing all the hot shops and nice places to eat etc.

By the time we got back to the hotel, it was dinner time... We ate at Blue Heaven Revolving Restaurant up on the 41st floor. It was quite a view, especially when everything was all lit up. Also, restaurant decorated really nicely, full of little blue lights, silver, white and light purple on the tables, displays of umbrellas and dolls, etc... The dinner was lovely. I certainly had a lot to eat: Crab, bread and cheese, specially cooked chicken, fried dumplings, fruit, salads, lots of veggies and tons of beautifully displayed desserts. Chocolate, strawberry tarts, ice cream, cream cheese, much more...

After dinner we headed out again to get some walking in and window shop. Stopped in one of the shoe stores and found a gorgeous pair of light gold with glittery trimmings and diamond detail. It looks so fancy, and perfect on; plus feels comfortable! So decided to get it. =)

Had a really good sleep in the Jing Jiang Towers (hotel) and took a stroll with my parents in the morning. The highlight: Riding on the top of a roofless double decker bus to one of my cousin's apartments... Love the feeling of wind in my hair, seeing all the streets from above.
