Sweetest Halloween (& its After Effects)
kitten-kissed on November 03, 2009 at 11:54 p.m.

So, this Halloween I ended up wearing a sheer white shirt and a super black miniskirt, with hot pink glitter eyeshadow, and during the night, beautiful angel wings. I must admit, I did like the attention of everyone shouting out "angel" and whatever pick-up line they had.

This Halloween was quite incredible, even though it started off not the best. I was planning to walk in the parade so met with a bunch of friends: R, AW, J and made some new ones. They were all really fun, friendly and interested in getting to know everyone. So we entered the parade and for a few blissful seconds we were on high from getting in but then had to wait quite awhile to finally start walking.

During this time, it started to rain which sucks. I don't like rain under normal circumstances, so this just horrendous. And the umbrella didn't cover us all. At least it wasn't a cold night, because another friend was carrying my jacket and I lost him in the crowd).

I actually ran into JC, a sweet friend of mine who I hadn't seen in a few weeks so it was a great coincidence that he was standing right by me! There was also a guy with a monster mask on so I couldn't tell who it was, but he knew my name. I still don't know which person he was!

So, my group and I walked the parade for a few blocks, and I noticed the cluster of fire fighters off to one of the sides and I caught the eye of one of them, blew him kisses which he reciporcated! Mmm, I wish I had stopped to talk to them!

Finally, we decided to get out of the parade, and I just wanted to meet with KL and get to 230 Fifth (where they aren't charging cover) so I left the people I was with to find the nearest subway station that was working! Finally was to get to my destination but my wings were messed up- and one of the strap had broken off. Plus, it took forever for KL to arrive, but at least I had a seat at the bus stop area.

We went into 230 Fifth, and they were asking for $24 for the first 2 drinks. No way! We left, and tried to get into Duvet or Taj but they were all charging. So we sought shelter at one of the back entrances and this guy shoved his way through the door but he was actually really cute so started chatting him up. Realized he was gay after he started mentinoning gay clubs (that I've also been to). Also found out he worked for Slate, but couldn't sneak us in because he'd get fired. Darn!

However, KL's friend was at Katra and told us that they weren't charging the whole night. I've been to Katra before, and it's a pretty sweet spot so I was surprised it was free but am very appreciative that it was. It was pretty packed, so that was good and did notice a bunch of cuties. My friend's friend introduced her European friends to us.

I kind of liked the German guy so tried to engage him in conversation as much as I could. He bought all of us drinks, then when we got to the VIP lounge, he sat between KL and me. He put his arm around my waist, casually. Definitely felt nice though. Back on the dance floor, he asked if I wanted be handcuffed to him, which I consented to and we danced together a bit. Later, I was to learn that he was dating my friend's friend.

KL left early but he friend and the Europeans were still around. I ended up meeting the very hot, pretty shirtless Chippendale guy. He actually picked me up from off the ground. Later, chatted with the hottie in a business suit. He insinuated that my wings were not broken by the rain, but because I'm no angel... Heh. He then asked if we were going downstairs and V (my friend's friend) answered no. Ugh! So I was actually kind of glad when she left.

I made my way downstairs, and couldn't find the business suit man but ran into a decent looking African American mid-bar and agreed to dance with him. I hung out with him for a bit, but when he left for a minute I found someone I liked better. Someone that I had already noticed in the crowd. He had his shirt open, so I could see the ripples of his muscled, well toned abs, and he had these light blue eyes. JD is a (pro) tennis player, and such a sweetie. We danced for awhile, and eventually ended up kissing.

We stayed downstairs a little, then went outside to get some fresh air. I enjoyed it when he lead the way walking through the club and me following behind, holding his hand and the excited looks on girls' faces when they saw him then the disappointed expressions when they saw me with him. Hah! Anyway, outside it was great to feel the cool night air around us and we made out in the phone booth.

Went back into the club, the downstairs section again. This time, one of JD's friends came around grabbing my ass and trying to take my hand to pull me away. Finally, JD said to his friend, "Have you met my girlfriend" (refering to me!) and the friend left. We continued dancing, then took it to the couch. Kissed awhile, which is something he's quite wonderful at. After a bit of that, I leaned against him and we held each other for a little while.

We stayed until the club closed, and while walking out, the owner said "There's your girlfriend. Take good care of her." I had to go back and talk to the owner, and I found out that he remembered me even though it's been a few weeks. Yay!

JD was sitting on the ground and he let me sit on his lap, and we made out again in this capacity. Several girls walked by and sang, "True love, love, l-o-v-e." Cute.

We took a cab (with his friend) to the nearest station and his friend was being a little inappropriate again. He even asked if I've ever been double teamed...

Said my goodbye to JD and I went home. I received the sweetest little texts from him that night- He was glad to meet me and should hang out again soon, calling me cutie. Aww!

While waiting for the train, I met a really cool gal who was easy and understanding to talk to. Then back in Flushing, waiting for the bus I met this guy who had just come from Mariah (Carey's) party at Mansion. He claims to know Mariah and wanted to take me to her show on New Year's Eve... I would consider it. He seems like a really nice guy, and even let me borrow his jacket! So I'll have to see him at least once more. At first it seemed like he was too eager to talk and make plans with me but he hasn't called in the last couple days...

Sunday I went ice skating at the Rockefeller Center with a big meetup group. It was great to see RG, KL and MW- I had a chance to talk with all of them. I loove the Rockefeller rink because the ice is so smooth that it's really easy to skate on. MW was basically at my level so I mostly chatted with her on the ice. Then, I met C who is from France but has lived in England extensively so has more of a British accent. I felt bad because MW had thought he was cute, so my intention was to meet him and introduce him to her but shortly after we started talking, I could feel that he was somewhat interested in me.

So, we sat next to each other at dinner and had a good time. Also joined the girls' conversations a little bit. Afterwards, C had mentioned getting coffee so we left together. As we started walking, he put his arm around me and kissed my hair gently... Which pretty soon turned to kissing on the lips. He wanted to find a plce to continue but we both can't have visitors at our places, so we exchanged numbers and continued walking close together, and stealing kisses until we had to part.

So I received a text from him saying that he found a hotel going for a cheap right. Ugh, I maybe probably should've told him I'm not looking for a one night thing when I had the chance. Now I'm not sure what to do- So far I haven't answered and I may not at all...

Monday I called S (the guy I met at Taj on Friday) back and we were trying to figure out a time to meet and he pointed out that tonight I had no plans which was true, so we met up. We went to see The Invention of Lying and got some snacks- nachos, an icee and peanut M&M's. The movie was pretty good. At times unpredictable, and definitely captured my attention. It was unique, and funny.

We both want to see The Box next. I feel kind of bad making him pay for everything though... Because I'm not sure I like him romanticaly. I should probably tell him, but I'm not sure how.

And yes, I have been keeping in touch with JD, the blue eyed sweetheart from Halloween. He's great. He always gets back to me, like calling me back in a timely manner. I will be seeing him Thursday night, and am soo looking forward to it!
