This week has been filled to the brim with final projects and final exams. But I am now almost done with this semester, so that's a good thing.

Monday night was really chill. We turned in our speeches and Professor Doorley bought pizza and drinks for us. Also, he didn't assign us any more mandatory papers for next week so we just have the final to focus on.

Tuesday evening was the group presentation. We re-branded the potato as the "sexy starch." I think we did a pretty good job but there were so many questions afterwards. None of them were rude or hostile... They were just asking for more information and most of them complimented our project.

Wednesday night I had to do a presentation (individual) and a final. I was the last to go and I felt bad because it was pretty short, but the professor called it "short and sweet." The final was tough because I didn't spend a lot of time on the kind of questions she was asking. Argh! I hope I did all right...

And the last class of the week was Thursday. Before the final though we had to go through a lecture, filling out evaluation forms then finally could start on the final. It was pretty fair, but since Seitel (professor) had so many lists of 10+ things to remember, I couldn't recall all of everything. Oh well I did the best I could.

And now I just have one more final for Writing Seminar 1 and I'm pretty sure I have a good grasp of all the topics and it was helpful that Doorley gave us notes on what to study.

So, anyway... After Thursday's class, I met up with MS. It was drizzling a little bit but wasn't too bad. We headed to a Starbucks and I got a caramel frappy-- Ooh, so delicious! After that we just continued wandering around, hitting Rockefeller and just kept going on that pretty path. We would stop at certain nice places and just stand there and hold one another. We found a really cute spot: It reminded me of a carousel and it protected us from the wetness. I sat on his lap and we just enjoyed each other's company. Kept going after awhile and walked past the UN headquarters-- Nice looking.

He asked me if I'll miss him when I'm away. Of course. When I asked him the same question, he just said "maybe." After a second though, admitted he was just fucking with me... And the answer was a definite "yes." He also asked me again what he's going to do while I'm gone. Aw, sweetie! I really don't want to leave him over the summer, but I've already made my plans. Hopefully I can go back to NY as soon as possible though. At least I don't have to worry about staying in touch because he's good about that. He's also very good on the phone so I love that about him. He mentioned that he might visit me in CA as well...

After awhile we decided to hail a cab and he came home with me, even though he had to get up early the next day. Oh well. I'm glad he came over because we talked about some serious stuff. He actually broached the subject of what are we? And his first answer was not to my liking so we then basically said we're already doing everything a couple would do in a committed relationship so the next logical step is to be officially together. Which we are now. It makes my heart happy.
