I've had sooo much fun these past few days!

It all started on Thursday. Went down to the World Financial Center (by World Trade Center) to meet with a director about being an extra in a Charlie Chan movie he's making. While waiting for him, I got a beautiful lemon tartlett with some raspberry, strawberry and blackberry on top from Financier (a delicious dessert shop). He finally came, and he seemed okay. We chatted awhile about the general plot, idea behind it and schedule they're trying to follow. I'm not sure how much time it will require, but if it's not too much I'll consider it (especially since compensation is only food and drink instead of cash).

Hung out at the World Financial Center for awhile then headed to Bergdorf's for my makeover at Yves Sant Laurent. The lady did a pretty job, mixing eyeshadow to color my eyes purple.

Afterwards met with DM, a friend from CA to go to karaoke in the Village. We stopped at get some Mexican food, and browse at a clothing shop first. When we arrived at WW's, karaoke was in full swing and as per usual, pretty crowded with a bunch of drunkards. The song choices were decent, but the singing was not. As time went on, a few people were incredible but most not (of course).

I had a fun time moving to the beat, singing along and after awhile met a couple of guys. I enjoyed dancing with C-- He was smooth but it was his other friend that had started chatting me up. He seemed all right, pretty nice and all but I didn't really like the way he kept putting his arm around me, trying to get all close, etc. At first I had agreed to sing "Tearing Up My Heart" (*NYSNC) with him but it was taking a loong time, and I wasn't into him so DM and I left before we did the duet.

Friday was also a good day, even though it was rainy through some of the night. I went to Stone Creek to meet with a bunch of people to watch an oldie movie: Midnight Cowboy. I enjoyed meeting the people, ordered fried appetizers, and the movie was all right. It had its moments. I didn't like it all that much though-- Didn't really follow a real storyline. It was so cut up and weird. Kinda funny though.

After the movie, did some mingling with the group then headed out to meet with DM to go to Pacha nightclub. Along the way, we passed by the firehouse (there weren't any young cute firement though); where BM lives (left him a note, and went up to the penthouse level and found the rooftop-- Beautiful view from the 53rd floor); the Ritz-- A swank gay bar where almost all the guys in there are ripped and hot; countless cute restaurants and finally Pacha...

My first time at Pacha and it was a great experience. Liked it immediately upon seeing the room. Loved the feeling of the fan, that it's a fairly lare club, the mosaic style mirrors in shape of a circle, place to sit in the middle with glittery danglies, and got totally into the music. Also, kept seeing guys that looked pretty good. DM and I had a fantastic time just dancing to the great club hits and I actually got to meet one of the guys I pointed out as hot!

Saturday was surfing at Rockaway. It was a meetup group, and I had asked ahead of time if R from Whitestone (close to Flushing) would be willing to give me a ride, and he agreed so thankfully I didn't have to use public transportation-- That would've taken 2.5 hours! It was a nice drive to the beach. We met G and S at the surf-shop and the rest of the people with cars so they could transport it down to Beach 67. The rest of the group were already there.

To start off with, we had to have a partner and G assigned us. I got paired up with an awesome gal, J who I got along with famously. She was soo helpful as well-- Carrying the board for me as we went into the ocean, trying to get as far out as possible. First step was to paddle in and then we could try to pop up in a kneeling position. G had claimed it was a one-motion movement but when I tried it the first couple times it didn't work-- It's pretty hard! Then, I got it and it felt incredible to be able to do that and hold it, riding the whole wave! I looved riding the waves (even if I was just lying on the board)-- Just felt sooo exhilarating, and luckily it was easy for me to find my center on the board.

We took short breaks to eat some snacks-- Fruit, chips, little bit of sandwich, and to get chatting with the other people who had come out. Everyone was pretty nice, and cool.

We kept on surfing (trying to, at least) for awhile, and the last half hour or so, J and I just ran in to play/swim in the water. It was hard to swim in though, since the waves at Rockaway got pretty rough. Still loved being in the water though.

Before 4p, we gathered the surfboards and took it back to the shop. There, we were able to rinse, change into dry clothes then walked a couple blocks to a restuarant. We sat outside, with a view of the ocean and in the shade. Very nice. Was sitting at first, but got bored of the conversation so went to the other side (standing up, since I was energized, and crazy- Had some mudslide and pink lemoniade with vodka in it) where S, G, K and Y were-- They're awesome! And very fun. They also shared their food with me-- Fries, and some lobster which was perfect!

When we were done eating, G had the idea of crashing All Points West-- A huge music festival at Liberty State Park in Jersey City. None of us had tickets, but G said he and S know the park well so may be able to break in. I was ready for some more adventure, so I agreed to it and Y who had a pickup truck let me ride with him. He was actually really easy to talk with, and funny.

We got there the fastest since we took the bridge route where there was not much traffic. S and A were near the park so they told us to go there, where they were holding a parking space which was a little tight but Y made it work. We chilled at S's apartment for a few, then walked to the park which took awhile, but finally made it and we took a break near a large and fun playground, where we could hear a band performing. We were pretty close.

Met up with G and H then continued walking along a dirt path and all of a sudden G comments that we're actually in the festival! Wow, we had just waltzed in there, and nobody stopped us. What luck! Only downfall was that we had to go through disgusting wet mud tracks to get there...

So now we were able to get closer to the stage, and listened to a couple of band performing. Also got some food. G let me have some pizza and H shared her pad thai with me. Soo nice! I still can't believe we actually got in... Wish could've seen Coldplay and Jay-Z but they weren't performing that night.

Sunday I woke up with very sore arms, but they felt better after a shower and lotion. Had a less active day today. Went into the city to babysit V for a few hours. We started building a castle-- A long, involved process. Played chutes and ladders, took a walk outside and went on the swings then went to the fountain.

Headed to Union Square after that to meet with RB and check out Forever 21. Found a couple skirts that I loooooooved but there wasn't time to try them on so will just have to back later this week. Especially since I can afford it.

Anyway, it was great to see RB. He suggested we go to Big Daddy, a very cool diner nearby. It was a great place. On the walk there, RB told me about being on Jimmy Fallon with Passion Pit, which is just freakin' awesome! I want to be on TV too!

So, the diner was a good option. I got the strawberry and raspberry shake and a delicious grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, special sauce, melted cheddar on ciabetta bread with tater tots. Wow, was it good and filling!

Went to the movies after eating to see Orphan. It was pretty creepy, but very good. I definitely got into. That little adopted girl is a crazy, mental hospital type convinning, manipulative clever psycho bitch that does awful violent crimes and pits the husband and wife against one another... I am fairly happy about the ending though.
