I've had a few great lunches during the week in the city, with great company. Monday I met with MC and we took advantage of the lunch special at Room Service (Thai food). I got Thai Iced Tea (of course) and flat noodles with Chinese broccoli, chicken, egg, sweet soy sauce. It was wonderful! And am glad I got to catch up with MC. She's really fun to hang out with, and a great listener.
After eating, I went back with her to her dorm so we could study but made a couple of stops first. Checked out a huge Ricky's which was ultra-cool. They have soo much stuff. I just got some glittery blue tattoos. Then we tried out a new frozen yogurt place, called Daydream. It's so calm in there... The wallpapering is blue sky and white clouds. Quite heavenly. As was the frozen yogurt: I got original and pomegranate flavor with peanut butter crumpets and mochi. Mmm!
Tuesday I met with MS later in the day around the Village and he bought lunch and Starbucks for me. We had chicken strips, curly cheese fries, etc. I hadn't seen him since break, so was great to chat it up, gossip, and so on.
Today, I was supposed to go a UN meeting with my Practicum group, but it completely slipped my mind. I was in the right building and everything! I just got caught up in other things, I guess. However, I ran into the professor after the meeting was over and he gave me all the information, and I have basic premise of what needs to be done.
Later in the day, I met up with MH for a meal at Super Mac. I got the cheesesteak, which was really good, and enjoyed Black Cherry fizzy drink. I'm glad I had a chance to chat with MH one on one, because usually it's with a bunch of people around. I like the more intimate setting sometimes. I told her what's been going on recently, especially with men and she was telling me that it has to stop-- It's true that I need to be more careful... And I know how to do that, what I need to do. It's just a matter of doing it!
So tonight I'm meeting with MA, and I was invited to the Empire Rooftop Lounge party (again), so I really hope he'll be okay with going there...
