I went out to karaoke last night and had a ball. The 1st spot we were at was really nice. Small, but a cool place and a cute bartender. As we were talking, I found out that Josh Hartnett had been there before! Wow, I would loove to meet him! Then, J and M finally came and we decided to head out to another place, Yello.

We stopped by the San Gennaro festival first which was a lot of fun. Decided to eat at a Chinese restaurant so we'd be able to sit down. Found a good, cheap place. I got the BBQ and wonton chips. Mmm! Had a lot of fun talking with the girls. We caught up about our lives and discussed current events and gossip about celebrities etc.

Finally made it to Yello where P and MIB had been for a bit. It was a really chill place and we were in charge of the songs- on a machine. We did Key Word karaoke (picked words from a card) and that made things interesting, a little difficult. I was pretty good at helping them out with song ideas though, and after a little another group came in. They were fun, frinedly. Two of the guys were celebrating a birthday.

I was just singing along like I always do, and this boy (just to clarify: A WHITE BOY, as two of my friends assumed it was an Asian because karaoke is apparently an Asian thing... Ridiculous!) comes up to me saying that he wants me to sing because I have a beautiful voice. Aww, that was so sweet! And he had really pretty blue eyes that I couldn't look away from. He was nice to talk to. He's in school for chemistry in Jersey and actually lives in Lawrenceville, where I lived at when I was a little girl. He's big on being educated, and so smooth.

I danced with him, and though he said he wasn't very good I really enjoyed it. And he complimented me on my skills so that was sweet. I liked being in his arms, and standing close to him.

Before too long, he told me he and his friends were going to leave. Definitely wanted him to stay, and he said "I think you should kiss me." We moved in closer, and we kissed twice to "Can't Take My Eyes Off You". It was quite wonderful. This is someone I think I could like, a lot. I really hope to see him again...
