Met Someone
kitten-kissed on February 10, 2008 at 11:44 p.m.

So today I met someone at church... Someone that I'm certainly interested in and intrigued by. Someone that I would definitely want to spend time with and get to know, though how to start hanging out with him, I'm not sure how to accomplish just yet. R is articulate, smart, funny, and he has a great sexy voice. He's also a hotter, older, more professional version of JC from back home in CA. With blue eyes. Does this not sound like my perfect guy, or what?

I introduced myself after the discussion he did on sin and Christians who are jerks. Found out he goes is doing his seminary at Princeton University, therefore lives in Jersey but comes to Manhattan twice a week. I also learned (later on at Angelo's a New York- style pizza place, which actually wasn't too too bad even though I prefer Chicago style and even though they didn't bring me my fettuccine carbonara ... At least I got free lunch!) that he has a girlfriend. Of course.

After our meal, I was planning to do some sightseeing by taking the ferry ride with K, but that was postponed as it started to snow beautifully as we walked out of the subway station. It was lovely to look at, but wasn't ideal for a ride on the water. And the temperature dropped pretty low, huge gusts of wind etc. However, we stopped by Chocolate by Max Brenner at Union Square where I proceeded to get the peanut butter chocolate shake that was indeed delicious. Just cold!

I was glad to be safely back at my apartment right before the real storm hit. It's been howling wind and rain for a bit. Seems to have dyed down a little though. I take that back; bad weather still going strong.

I suppose I should continue writing the press release for my Writing 1 Seminar, as well as a communications plan (that second part won't be as difficult, thankfully). I guess I just have to get used to the PR-way of writing. It's really different from literature, where I analyzed to death everything we read. And it's not as time consuming so I should just suck it up and do it! Which means I'll probably do the bulk of it tomorrow.
