Tonight I got paid to watch movies. Our local library, where I'm a Library Assistnat I enlisted my help with set up and keeping the kids in line. I arrived an hour before the event started and all us helpers enjoyed some pepperoni pizza. After that I was in charge of the popcorn machine, distrubution of candy and drinks.

I missed the first few minutes of Happy Feet but came in just in time to see little star penguin being born. I'm so glad I got to see this film. It was so adorable, hilarious and had such great musical sense.

The next movie was Hairspray which had Zac E. in it but I didn't really like him in the polished, hairslicked look. He was a lot sexxier in High School Musical. Oh well, it was still a good movie. Wonderful music, groovy dancing, sweet dresses, and a great message about doing what's right and a lesson on togetherness and integration.

Everything turned out well. A bunch of teens and a few kids, library staff showed up and we all just had a ball with both the featured films. I enjoyed my concotion of buttery popcorn and M&M's and really had a swell time especially since the choice of movies was top notch.
