It was totally a lazy, too hot day today. Wow, I can't believe that we all thought Monterey was steaming today, while in actuality it's really fairly temperate and mild. I don't know I'll be able to survive hot, muggy, humid NYC...

Had a nice time yesterday-- Got to chill with SI, have some great talks and went to the beach. It was so beautiful. I had forgotten about how glorious the landscape is around here. I also got my Jack in the Box meal and later on, Jamba Juice.

Last night went to SD and JB's place to watch "America's Next Top Model" together. I wanted Anya to win, but Whitney did-- I don't mind that actually. She's the first "plus size" model to gain that title, so props to her!

Had a long talk with MS last night. He was under the impression that I expected him to call everyday, but he's not that type of guy. He explained that he'd rather call every three days and have longer conversations than just short ones daily. He could tell I wasn't being straight with him about what I wanted, which was every other day or even every two days would have been better but I didn't want to seem like I needed it. He did say that "I don't want you think that I don't think about you or care about you because I do." Pretty strong statement and he asked if I missed him, so he must be thinking about that himself...

Anyway, I'm going to Santa Cruz early tomorrow and probably staying through the weekend. It'll be good to catch up with friends there.
