What I have been up to the past week: Hanging out with relatives, taking walks and checking out shops, eating out (dinners), meeting family friends and staying at their place, carrying my 4 month niece, going to the park with one of my cousins and her hyper, sometimes rude but endearing 6-year old son, playing balloon volleyball, eating hot pot, taking a trip to Ningbo -- far away and much rain but still fun to see the Buddhist temple, spending time with Bai Bai/ her fiance and 11-year old son (he calls me his favorite aunt), enjoying Beijing Duck, karaoke, snapping photos, using facebook chat to talk with close friends, checking out famous shopping streets and making some purchases.
Recently I have bought a bunch of DVDs and some CDs. I found Kung Fu Panda and much to my utter delight, also Sex and the City: The Movie. Heck ya! Also picked out a few bras: One black lace bandeau top style, a light pink one with halter strap detail, and a pale blue lacy one with a stripe of lilac color. And picked our a really pretty dress-like outfit for sleepwear: A hot pink silky ruffly number with little bows on the spaghetti straps. HOT!
So last night I watched Sex and the City: The Movie and was so shocked about all that happened. So much heartache and passion, an so many touching moments. But inside those tough moments, came forgiveness and pure/simple love. And of course, the most amazing, perfect outfits! Really enjoyed it. Especially liked when Big actually and finally proposed to Carrie... "Carrie Bradshaw, love of my life... Will you marry me?" Wow, how sweet and romantic is that!
