Do not be fooled by the time stamp on this entry. I didn't wake up early; this is the time I got home...

So Monday, I ran into MS as I walked up the stairs from the subway station, heading toward class. It was a sweet little surprise. He walked me to class and stayed with me a little while til I had to leave and he had to meet his sister. He said he might surprise me and meet me after class and if not, he'll see me Tuesday night.

Tuesday: Woke up early (for once) and tried to get to the Corona Health Clinic for my shot but it wasn't open so I took the easy way (though more expensive route) and got my shot at the NYU Medical Center. It was very quick, a bit of soreness right after but not for long.

I then was at the NYU Midtown location, spending four hours at the computer lab. I was finally able to sign up for classes and I have a freaking Saturday course. Why must I be tortured, but these are mandatory classes and always held on a Saturday. Anyway, I also finished two essays and my PowerPoint presentation on Avon for Managing Public Relations and Corporate Communications Function.

Since it was a beautiful day out, afterwards all I could think about was going to the park and basking in the good weather. Also did a bit of shopping at H&M. I picked out a pretty, spring-like purple and white spaghetti strap dress with ruche-ing on the top. It was a really good price, but before I left I noticed the same dress in hot pink so now I'm wondering if I should exchange the one I bought...

I went to Neutral Ground to play Apples to Apples and ask the girls for fashion advice on the dress I just purchased. They all said the hot pink would go well with my skin color but it depends what I want to convey with the outfit. Hmm, well I'm going to try the hot pink one and decide from there.

Even though I didn't have the advantage of being in the game (Apples to Apples) from the start, I am very proud to announce that I got 3 cards in a row! Alas, I didn't end up winning. Oh well. It was still a great game and was good to see everyone.

MS called and unfortunately wasn't able to meet me tonight. He's sick with a fever etc and he didn't even go to work today. This means it's pretty bad because he always goes to work, including on Sundays if they need him then. He's very dedicated to his work. So, poor baby. I hope he gets better right away!

The Apples to Apples crew went home early, so I went with S to a diner called Tick Tock. It was pretty darn good. I got the grilled chicken pesto sandwich with sprouts and it came with sweet potato fries. Had great conversation with S as well. We talked about my presentations for classes, food, travel, politics, past visionaries, social change, career paths and so on.

DS finally joined us and we went to a bar after the diner. It was all right; there was a jukebox so music was dictated by whomever put money in, which was bad at times and good when we had control.

I still missed MS though.
