Strawberry Festival!
kitten-kissed on May 03, 2008 at 11:52 a.m.

Yesterday afternoon, NYU put up a great tradition called the Strawberry Festival. Everything was free and I was able to have a piece of New York's longest strawberry shortcake, popcorn, snowcone, cotton candy, s'mores, and live music, free CD's and slides, games, etc. While wandering around at this fair, I ran into KS, AS and later on MF and MG (both Mikes... haha), G and more. It was nice to see them all and MF gives good hugs. Wanted to get a picture together, but they closed right at 4pm on the dot. Sigh.

Afterwards, we headed to one of the dorms and just chilled, listening to someone play the guitar and sing. We then went over to 3rd North and hung out at the game room. I played foosball and totally dominated both games. After that we sat on top of the pool table-- very comfortable.

Headed out to go to the Law School Building on Sullivan... I finally found it-- Kept thinking I wasn't going the right way or something. Anyway, met some very cool people and we enjoyed pasta together then worship songs. Afterwards, we all headed to Red Mango. I didn't know there was one in the Village as well. Anyway, it's an amazing frozen yogurt place with unique toppings: Fresh fruit, red bean, mochi, sweet cereals, and so on. They are far better than Pinkberry: Less expensive and bigger portions, more generous toppings. There was a courtyard area in the back so we hung out there. When done, we loitered outside for a bit and there was another group doing the same thing in front of Pinkberry across the street. LoL.

Rest of the evening I just chatted with people online until my computer crashed.
