I have been on the lookout for a summer job opportunity. I've mostly been using CareerNet and CraigsList, and some branching out through other sources. So far, I've gotten several responses and today had 3 interviews.
The first one was at Coburn, and I
really liked the interviewer. I don't believe it's paid, but still sounds like a viable option.
After that was with a fashion brand whose clothes are vibrant, colorful, and fun. This is a part-time position and pays well. It would start now, and continue through the summer.
The last interview was for Lawline.com (they provide a monthly stipend that isn't too bad) but I didn't really research the company, so couldn't explain it well. At least it isn't my top choice.
I have also been exploring babysitting options (part-time) to get some extra income. And it would be fun for me, because I love being around children. Hopefully something will come up soon!
Tonight I'm going out to eat at S'mac-- A mac and cheese place that is really delicious. After that, planning to join MH and others for karaoke, which I always love going to!
