I invited BM to go out to Prime tonight. I hadn't seen him in almost two weeks because he went to Mexico during my spring break, so I was looking forward to seeing him. After my class, I rushed over (in the rain) to his apartment a few blocks away and it was wonderful to be there, and to be with him. Had a great time chatting with him, though there were a few guys over including his new Italian roommate-- GC. They're all great guys, but at least once I want to go out with BM just the two of us!

I mean, I did talk with him the most. I took up the bulk of his attention but still. He made me a drink-- Very light on the raspberry stoli so it was fine. He shared half of his very healthy dinner with me, and put on glittery blue flower tattoo on my right shoulder. It felt great to be close to him, and whenever we are next to each other he'll put his arm around me and come in closer. So, BM, BG, GC and I left a little after 10 (the rain was almost gone by then).

Cabbed it downtown to the club Prime and there weren't too many people meeting. Three of us got in free, but GC was wearing sneakers so had him pay $20 which was quite ridiculous. Even though BM was saying the bouncer said it was fine, GC still had to pay the fee. Grr! Anyway, it was all right. Small, but quite pretty. The crowd was mostly African American though. And they didn't have grenadine to make a Shirley Temple-- How freaking shady is that!

Anyway, we stayed for a bit. The music was all right, so just danced. Got to dance with BM most of the time, which was hot as always. And he kept putting his arm around my waist, took hold of my hand once. Then, he was talking about leaving because he wanted to go to his friend's birthday downtown which isn't free entry so we had to part ways.

Before we left, BM was telling me that he has to make the most of his nights out because he wants to meet a girl. It's been a year since his last serious relationship (which lasted 4 years.) This tells me a couple things: 1) He hasn't thought of me in that way and 2) Surprisingly, he's looking for a long and lasting relationship. Which is what I want. With him. I couldn't think of anything to say at the time, though later I came up with "What about you and me?" So now I have to figure out a way to bring it up again, and to do that I need to get him alone.

My friend supplied me with the words, now I just need to put it into action. I hope I can do this... I need to, actually. Because I can't not try. And I do like him quite a bit.
